Driver installation issues?

So, I just picked up a Dell Inspiron 17 that’s rocking a 64-bit processor, and I went ahead and got Windows 7 (64-bit) all set up on it. Everything seemed to be cruising along smoothly until I hit the driver stage, so I headed over to this site http://www.dell.com/support/drivers to grab the wireless driver, which installed without a single hiccup. Then, I figured I’d tackle the graphics drivers next, so I downloaded these three from the same spot
VGA Intel VGA Driver
VGA NVIDIA VGA Driver
VGA NVIDIA VGA Driver VGA Driver for PhysX

But here’s where the road gets a little bumpy—as soon as I try to kick off the installation, I get slapped with this error message: “This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software. Setup will exit.”
It's like the installer is looking at my machine and just shaking its head! Does anyone have any tips or tricks on how I can actually get these graphics drivers installed?

Just grab it directly from the official NVIDIA website. If you aren't quite sure which specific graphics card is tucked inside your laptop, just go with Option 2—you know, the one that says "Automatically find drivers for my NVIDIA products." It makes things a lot easier, doesn't it?

Since we’re talking about driver headaches, I actually have one myself. I just finished installing Windows yesterday and ran Driver Booster 3, which seemed to grab everything except for this one mystery item, this is how it shows up in the Device Manager and I'm honestly not sure what my next move should be. How do you even fix something like this? Should I try a different program or maybe 🤷

Just right-click that question mark icon, head over to properties, then hit details—once you're there, look for the property labeled hardware IDS

Whatever pops up under "Value," just copy and paste that straight into Google. It should pull up exactly what you need to install. Honestly, that trick works for me every single time.

It turned out to be those USB 3.0 drivers, I guess. I'm just a little confused about why this booster didn't catch them and get them installed automatically 🤷
