DVD Player

Does anyone actually know of a decent DVD Player that’s totally free and doesn't suck
(man, look at me being a regular wordsmith 😁 )?
I've been scouring the web, but everything I stumble upon turns out to be some cheap shareware garbage that starts glitching out after you've watched just a few videos, and honestly, I didn't see a single legitimate freeware option on the forum's list—unless I'm just a complete moron 😵 )

It doesn't exist because developers have to pay licensing fees for the DVD decoder.
A while back, I posted on Microsoft about how to bypass this and get a free DVD player through a bit of a workaround:
1. Install some shareware DVD player that includes its own built-in decoder.
2. Launch Windows Media Player, which will then detect the installed decoder, letting you watch your DVDs in peace via Windows Media Player 😬
This worked perfectly for me using a DVD Player, and I’d imagine it works with others too 🙂

I'm pretty sure VLC is totally free, man. Just grab it and see if it does the trick for you.

Well... if that's the case, someone just needs to toss him onto the freeware list already!
