DVR Converter Help Needed

Is there a free one out there?
I've got this file recorded on a digital TV tuner in DVR format,
and I probably need to convert it into something a standard DVD player can actually read.

If you just hop on Google, you'll find a ton of different Converters out there...

Tried about ten different Converters, but none of them will actually open a .dvr extension
they're all just dvr-ms Converters 😠

Are you hunting for this stuff through Google or just hitting up some torrent sites?
The thing is, most of this software really needs you to actually sign up for an account if you want it to function properly.
Otherwise, if you’re just messing around with those free trials or unregistered versions, they usually cap you out—you'll barely get through 30% or maybe even 50% of a file before it cuts you off.

Nobody even wanted to open the file, they can't even see it

Maybe give Handbrake a shot. 🙂

Downloaded that 62 MB piece of junk and installed it, but it didn't do anything.
Even he can't see the DVR file.

Doesn't the text in that link say:

That TiVo setup provided by the antenna receiver is actually just an MPEG-TS file. You should probably track down a converter for that format...
