Eagle Eye thriller

It's a race-against-the-clock thriller that brings back the powerhouse trio of Shia LaBeouf, D. J. Caruso, and executive producer Steven Spielberg after their success with Paranoia.
In this one, Jerry Shaw (LaBeouf) and Rachel Holloman (Michelle Monaghan) are just two strangers thrown together by a creepy phone call from some woman they've never even met. She starts threatening their lives and their families, forcing Jerry and Rachel into this insane series of dangerous situations where she uses everyday tech to track and control their every move.
As things spiral out of control, these two regular people end up as the most wanted fugitives in the country. They have to team up just to figure out what the hell is actually happening. While fighting to stay alive, they realize they're basically just pawns for some unknown enemy that seems to have unlimited power to manipulate everything they do.
The whole concept actually started a few years back in executive producer Steven Spielberg's head. Steven's original idea was centered on the thought that technology is everywhere—what happens when it turns on us? Like, what if the very tech we love and rely on suddenly gets used against us in a way that's totally harmful and completely out of control?\"
Out in theaters now... I thought it was great, honestly. Just a shame about how that ending had to go.
