The smileys aren't showing up when I click them... Is there some setting buried in the options to fix this, or am I just out of luck?

It’s tucked away in some corner of the internet settings somewhere... I can't quite put my finger on it, though!

If you want to get this working, you have to dig through the settings. Go to Internet Options, hit Advanced, find the Microsoft VM section, and make sure the Java console is actually enabled. Just a heads-up: you’re going to need to restart everything for that to take effect.
And that’s supposed to be the end of it? You’ve got to be kidding me. They really think they can just wrap this up and call it a day? It’s a joke.

By the way, I never had any issues with that being rigged. Everything has always worked perfectly fine for me, so... what do I know? 😁

Nothing comes to mind. Honestly, I have no idea if anyone else here is dealing with this exact headache.
