Can someone explain the whole point of having an engineering thread here in the USA?
The topic is locked down tight, yet people just keep starting fights—why even bother?
Is it just to give everyone something to argue about outside of the main posts?
Anything that breaks the forum rules shouldn't be moved into its own special thread.
Plus, it just creates extra chaos.

I’d say you actually care about why your posts (and some others) were scrubbed from Engineering. It’s for the exact reason you’re questioning: we aren't here to move arguments elsewhere and run a circus.

I’ve stepped in as a guest mod before, and I’ve deleted personal bickering that just gets in the way of a real discussion.
