It’s not exactly groundbreaking...
But I caught it recently and—honestly?—it blew me away. Especially since I went in expecting total garbage. It’s basically just a comedy about some American college kids traveling through Europe... where everything goes sideways.
Definitely worth a watch.

Man, this thing is great—totally worth the watch! That bit at the start where he tells her she’s got a dirty boob, plus the whole robot sequence...

But honestly? The absolute highlight for me is that scene where they’re locking lips while David Hasselhoff is just vibing in the background 😂 🙏 😂

I've had this movie sitting on my hard drive for like two months now....

A buddy told me it's actually good and doesn't feel like your typical mindless comedy, but I keep putting it off. I guess I just have this nagging feeling it's going to suck. *shrugs*

The movie isn't anything special...
It's just your typical American high school comedy...
The only parts worth watching were the scenes with those hooligans from the Chicago Bears fans...
Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it...

I actually thought it was pretty solid—that’s exactly why I recommended it. It’s been a long time since I sat through a comedy that actually landed. Sure, there's some over-the-top stuff, but honestly, when isn't there? Not sure if it's even available on streaming right now—I'm still an old-school Blu-ray guy 😁 .

What a complete disaster of a movie.

It’s an absolute insult to Eastern European countries. Of course, to a bunch of clueless Americans, it probably looks totally realistic—it actually reminds me of that scene with Rade Šerbedžija in Slovakia—as if they’ve just stepped straight into a 1920s gulag. In reality, for a few bucks, a hotel waiter would quit his job for you, the kids get treated like royalty, and everyone’s wearing high-end designer suits... honestly, the film is garbage.

To be fair, there are a couple of decent moments.

Honestly, this was easily one of the best comedies I've caught in a while...
I was practically gasping for air laughing at every single scene...
The absolute highlight, though—the part that just kills me—is when that total psychopath drags them through Bratislava...🤣
They’re trekking through these trashed, crumbling social housing projects, and this guy just casually drops, "It's a good thing you came in the summer; it gets pretty depressing in the winter..."😬 😬

The film is truly excellent.
That scene involving the Pope really hit me the hardest... it starts as if he has passed away and a successor is being chosen, only for you to realize the actual Pope is just sitting there watching the whole thing unfold on television...

I watched this ages ago—I know I liked it, but I also ended up reacting just like most people on this forum... they definitely went a bit overboard with the mockery of the Midwest...
