Look, it’s simple. There isn’t a single thing you can actually control. You ever notice that?
Not even the people you love.

But honestly, maybe that’s where the beauty is.
Like, even if I can't force someone to care about me, they might just... love me anyway.

It’s weird. I’ve kind of made my peace with it. Weird.
It’s freezing out here and it’s seriously getting on my nerves.
And there’s nothing I can do about it.
All I can do is tell my girlfriend I love her.
I can't make her feel the same way back.
I can just give it everything I've got.
And I am trying.
By 4:00 tomorrow, I'll know if she's actually in this with me.

Screw control. Real men just ride the wave.

That’s just not how I see things. I’m more interested in that Hollywood kind of romance—you know the type? Where if the love is truly mutual, there isn't this constant, exhausting pressure to prove yourself. I want a relationship where everything feels effortless and spontaneous, where we can just enjoy each other's company without the heavy burden of feeling like I constantly have to go above and beyond just to keep things afloat.

look, I guess I can try to give it my all.
not like I pull it off every single time.
ego.
haha.
whatever, doesn't matter.
as if anything actually does.
😁

You’re right about the ego; it's an important point to raise. That ugly little concept—it’s like a parasite, a constant intruder.
Whenever you convince yourself that your actions are somehow noble because you're doing them for someone else, that guilt starts to fester. It becomes a drain on your conscience. You begin to boil over, driving you to push harder just to prove your worth, fueled by the desire to outdo those similar types who operate under the same delusions.

🙄 🙄 It’s like those movies, that sense of spontaneity.
