I know I need to see my doctor—and I’ve already got an appointment scheduled for next week—but in the meantime, I’d love to hear from you all. Has anyone else dealt with something similar? To give you some context, I’ve struggled with intense headaches for as long as I can remember. Sometimes they hit more frequently than others, but they’re always localized right in my forehead. I went through a whole battery of tests years ago, but nothing ever turned up. Lately, though, I’ve been dealing with this strange, shifting pain behind my eye—it kind of wanders, moving slightly left or right. Occasionally, the blood vessels in that eye look red, too. When it hits, my only real relief is taking a strong painkiller and just closing my eyes to sleep. I initially wondered if it might be sinus-related, but looking at what people say about sinus issues, that doesn't seem to fit—I don't get constant colds, I'm not sensitive to the cold, and my nose isn't always running... It doesn't feel like simple eye strain either, since the pain flares up regardless of how I spend my day. Does anyone recognize these symptoms? Any advice at all?
