I’m honestly pretty shaken up because I had a total "brain glitch" the other day. For about two or three seconds, I felt like I was losing consciousness—it felt like I was being pulled to the side—and then suddenly everything snapped back. It might sound a little silly describing it this way, but it was a really unsettling feeling. What worries me most is that a few years ago, I dealt with an awful headache that lasted about 5 to 10 minutes and messed with my speech; I thought I was speaking clearly, but everyone around me said I was just mumbling nonsense.
If anyone has gone through something similar or knows what might be going on, please let me know.

😲 See a doctor. Now. Or sooner rather than later. Sudden speech impairment and loss of consciousness aren't things you just brush off without a neurological exam. Go get checked out, even if it's just for peace of mind. Hopefully, it's nothing serious.😘

Man, I've been dealing with this exact same thing for a solid year now. After running some tests, it turns out it's just low blood pressure combined with issues in my cervical spine.

Yeah, low blood pressure... I used to deal with all sorts of things, including tremors and spasms (which basically meant slamming myself into whatever was nearby—walls, floors, you name it—with zero way to stop it :/ )...

Don't get up too fast.😳

i totally get that... low blood pressure just hits you out of nowhere... everything starts spinning and I have to go stumble off somewhere for a second.... the absolute worst part is when I wake up and I'm just lying there in bed and the whole room starts revolving...

Hi everyone. Has anyone dealt with something similar lately, and how did you handle it? It’s been happening more often recently—whenever I stand up, my vision just goes dark and blurry. I guess if I didn't sit back down immediately or grab onto something, I would probably collapse.

Have you checked your blood pressure?

..The last time I checked my blood pressure was about two months ago, and it seemed fine. I haven't checked since. As for my iron levels... I guess it's been a while. A few years, maybe. 🤔

Look

Here’s what you wrote: I mean, my blood pressure seems normal enough... but if I stand up too fast or get stuck in a massive crowd, it just drops out on me.😵

Honestly, it sounds like you might just be dealing with low blood pressure, especially since those dizzy spells hit right when you stand up too fast. You should probably just grab yourself a really strong cup of black coffee, make sure you’re actually sitting down for a solid breakfast every morning, and man, just try to chill out, reduce the stress, and take things slow when you get out of bed

I bet her stress is what's causing that low blood pressure😬

Look, just go see a doctor and a neurologist already.

It could be absolutely nothing, I guess, but then again, it could be a minor stroke...

So, here’s the thing...
I think I’m dealing with something, but I honestly have no clue what it is.
My symptoms are pretty weird: whether I’m standing, sitting, or lying down, it doesn't matter—out of nowhere, I just feel terrible. It feels like I’m losing touch with reality or about to black out. Everything around me starts looking like a dream, almost like I'm slipping into unconsciousness for a split second.
The people around me don't even notice anything is happening; it's just me experiencing this.
This has been going on for a few years now, though not constantly—it comes in waves. I’ve gone to every specialist and undergone every test you can imagine, but they all tell me everything looks fine. Does anyone have any insight or advice that might actually help?
For context, I smoke, I drink occasionally, and I’ve never touched drugs.
I actually suspected it might be epilepsy, but doctors already ruled that out.
AM I JUST LOSING MY MIND?

Sounds like a panic attack to me... you should really talk to a doctor about it

I don't think that's quite it, but thanks anyway...

Typical panic attack symptoms usually look like this:
-racing heart
-shortness of breath
-chest pains
-flushing or sweating
-feeling nauseous
-tremors in your hands or your whole body
-feeling sick
-confusion
-dry mouth
-sudden urge to use the restroom
-feeling weak.
Looking at that list, I don't think I'm experiencing any of those.

If anyone else has gone through something similar, please let me know what it felt like...

I mean, I think it’s just happening because you're exhausted. It's super possible that your brain is just reacting that way when you're under this much stress.

That’s what they told me, but honestly, I don't feel tired at all. If anything, I've been doing absolutely nothing all day.

I’ve happened to witness a few instances lately where young people have suddenly lost consciousness while riding the subway—I suspect the intense summer heat might be playing a role. If anyone here has personally experienced something similar, I would truly appreciate it if you could share whether there are any specific warning signs or physical sensations that occur just before it happens. I realize that everyone's body reacts differently, but I think knowing those early indicators could be incredibly helpful for all of us. Thank you.
