His stuff hits me differently—sometimes it just breaks me, and other times it sparks this weird sense of defiance and rebellion
When I first started listening to him, I used to imagine his songs being belted out by some drunk guys in an Aussie or British pub during a late-night singalong😁... maybe that's actually the vibe they're going for😕 either way, he’s leagues ahead of those mediocre local acts we get stuck with back home

Man, I’m such a crybaby lately... seriously, some random sci-fi story on Reddit had me sobbing today. It’s getting bad—I find myself tearing up reading The New York Times, or even just a third-grade reader like Maštanko. At this rate, I’ll be posting tearful ads on Craigslist soon. No joke. I cried through Return of the King, I cried during the search for Nemo—just everything...
but music? Never really, except for that one time, so it doesn't even count.
When I'm actually in a dark place, I don't listen to music. I don't know if anyone here has ever dealt with real depression, but when you're there, it’s too much effort to even put a CD in the player—and honestly, it wouldn't matter what was playing anyway.

I've been listening to that silly Lucky guy. It honestly feels a bit easier when I watch him just wail away about his sorrows...
