Looking for a laptop for a student. It’ll mostly be used for schoolwork, browsing the web, listening to music, and streaming movies. I went on the Best Buy website to see what fits the bill (something like an i3-5005, 15.6" screen, I'll install Windows later, budget around $1000) and these are the options I found:

If you guys have a second, could you take a look at the link and let me know what you think?
I was leaning toward this one:
HP 15-ac107nm, i3-5005U/4GB/500GB/AMD R5 M330 2GB/15.6"/FreeDOS, black (P3L76EA)

Found it here, and it looks like the cheapest option:

It says "in/out" is "no"—what does that even mean?

Let me know your thoughts.

I’m not even going to waste my breath trying to figure out what he meant by that "in/out" nonsense—it's not worth the headspace. Honestly, just stay away from HP if you can help it; their warranty is pathetic, lasting only a single year. Looking at the options over at Best Buy, the Dell Inspiron stands out. It’s got a solid configuration tailored to you (decent processor, really good integrated graphics), plus it comes with a three-year warranty and actually sits in a higher class than those other models listed. If you're watching your budget, maybe consider bumping up the memory a bit. It isn't expensive these days, and it'll give you a nice performance boost since more RAM gets allocated to the graphics and lets you juggle more tasks without everything slowing down. But hey, you can always do that later if you feel the need...

When you're hunting for a laptop (or anything else, really), you should be checking out sites like Google Shopping. There are way more deals and the filters actually work:

That way you can track down the best price from a reliable seller. If you aren't sure about someone, just ask us here 😬. For example, regarding that Dell 5558 in the link above:

you can probably find it even cheaper elsewhere...

Thanks!

I mean, I honestly think this deal is probably the best and most reliable one out there.
