Not sure which thread this belongs in, so I’m just dropping it here. If someone knows where this fits better, feel free to move it.

So, for the last few days, I've been feeling incredibly weird. Like my brain is totally out of it. It’s this constant "brain fog" thing—just these random moments where I can't focus on anything for the life of me. It’s not like I’m dizzy or anything, it’s more like this subtle interference, almost like I’ve had a couple of beers, but without any of the buzz or euphoria 🙂...

I don't even know how to put it better. Everything feels slowed down. I'm exhausted, but then I try to sleep and it just won't happen. Nothing hurts, and I don't have any other major symptoms. Most people probably wouldn't even notice anything is off, but I can tell something is definitely different. I don't know... anyone have an idea what might be going on?

Have you checked your blood pressure? Your iron levels? Blood sugar?
Have you been spending a lot of time staring at a computer screen or the TV?
Were you under any harsh lighting, like those bright studio lights?
Are you getting regular, restful sleep?
Do you struggle with anxiety or depression?
Are you following a specific diet?
Are you staying hydrated enough? And do you deal with constipation?
Have you recently traveled across different time zones?
Have you had your thyroid levels checked?
Do you have any allergies?
Any history of heart issues?
Those are just a few things to consider...😁

Been staring at a computer screen or the TV too much?
Were you under those harsh fluorescent lights (like in a disco)?
Are you actually getting solid, regular sleep?

Following some specific diet?
Drinking enough water? Dealing with constipation?
Been traveling or dealing with jet lag?
Checked your thyroid hormones?
Got any allergies?
Heart issues?
Just some things to consider.😁

Nah... a few months back I woke up from a nap with my nose bleeding everywhere..
Not really, maybe just the last couple of years (actually, maybe a little more than that)..
Nope.
For example.
No (I think).
Nope.
Yeah, I drink plenty of water. And no, I don't deal with constipation or crime.
Does driving from the suburbs into the city count?
No (my sister and mom both have thyroid issues and take meds for it).
No allergies here.
My heart is fine (I had a high heart rate during a military physical once, but that was probably because the doc was being way too aggressive during the exam).

So, for the last few days, I've been feeling incredibly strange. It’s like I’m perpetually stuck in a fog; there’s this mental cloudiness where concentrating on anything becomes an uphill battle. It isn't vertigo or dizziness, per se, but more of a subtle interference—much like that slight impairment you feel after a couple of drinks, though without any of the actual buzz 🙂...

I can't quite find the right words for it, but everything feels slowed down. I'm exhausted, yet sleep remains elusive. I don't have any physical pain or other glaring symptoms; honestly, someone else might not even notice a difference, but I can tell something is fundamentally off. I'm at a loss... does anyone have any insight into what might be causing this?

I’ve been feeling exactly the same way for the past three weeks. I went to a specialist to check my vestibular system and everything came back normal. I'm stuck, and my doctor keeps insisting it's just issues with my cervical spine. If you find anything new, please let me know. Best...

🤣, I was actually thinking about constipation.

Maybe it’s just temporary, maybe it's just seasonal... If you start experiencing more serious symptoms—like dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, or feeling weak—it would be best to see a doctor. I only asked about your heart because I have a friend who went through something similar; they had to wear a Holter monitor, and it turned out their frequent extra beats weren't harmless at all. They had to go in for much more intensive testing before getting a final diagnosis... I don't mean to scare you, I just want to be careful...

Interesting... a few months back, my neck was killing me constantly. It was brutal. Now? It's totally fine.
