I had some kind of nasty virus last week, and then by Saturday, the dizziness and nausea kicked in... now I’ve been dealing with constant vertigo for three days straight. It settles down if I just lie still, but the second I try to move, I feel like I’m going to pass out. Even walking a few steps makes my head spin and gives me this overwhelming sense of doom, like I'm actually dying. To make matters worse, I moved to a different city on Sunday to start college, so getting to a doctor isn't exactly easy right now. Light is unbearable, and every time I close a door or turn a key, it feels like someone is slamming a hammer into my skull. Even the sound of my phone ringing stresses me out because I can't handle the noise. What am I supposed to do?! Has anyone else dealt with this exact same thing?!!?

It goes away if I just stay still and lie down, but the second I try to actually *do* anything, I feel like I'm going to collapse. If I even take a few steps, my head starts spinning and I get this overwhelming wave of weakness where I honestly think I might die. To make things worse, I moved to a different city on Sunday to start college, so I can't exactly just run to a doctor right now. I can't stand bright lights, and whenever I close a door or turn a key, it feels like someone is literally bashing my head in with a sledgehammer. Even the sound of my phone ringing stresses me out so much I can't even listen to it. What am I supposed to do?! Has anyone else dealt with stuff like this?!!?

I've been dealing with the exact same thing lately.
When I'm just chilling, everything is fine, but the moment I try to be productive, my head starts spinning.
Look, I deal with back issues, neck problems, low blood pressure, and panic disorder... so naturally, that fear just doubles everything.
Even after a virus, you can just be physically depleted... just generally weak. Or maybe you're just having a hard time adjusting to a whole new environment... and your subconscious is reacting to the stress.
I don't know... anything is possible. It could be something totally harmless, or it could be something else entirely.
