Sorry if this has been covered already, but I need some input on this:
I deal with quite a few allergies—sunlight, dust, you name it—and they usually just show up as spots or hives on my skin.
I've never had an allergy cause breathing issues before, but lately, things have taken a turn.
I start feeling like I can't breathe when the weather shifts, like right before a storm, or when I'm in dusty rooms, near certain trees, or even just stressed out—mostly during finals week.
My blood work came back totally normal. My doctor thinks it's just a passing allergy and told me to wait it out, but honestly, I feel like I'm getting worse every day.
I've also noticed this happens way more often when I haven't eaten. Could this be related to low blood sugar or something similar? I'm no expert, but yesterday, I was dealing with dust, pollen, and hunger all at once, and the choking sensation actually stopped after I ate something.
Anyone have any ideas on what this could be? I’m planning on switching doctors because this feels like much more than just a minor allergy.
