I’ve been dealing with this weird little funk for a few days now where I just feel slightly nauseous, though it’s not even like I actually need to throw up, it’s more like a little burp and then I feel totally fine again... plus there's this constant sense of being drained and restless, so I just end up sitting there overanalyzing everything, wondering if I'm getting sick or just feeling weak, but I try to stay chill and tell myself it'll pass even though I wake up with that same heavy feeling every single morning.
So yeah, it's been going on for a bit and I'm honestly torn on whether I should head to the doctor or if it's just some temporary thing that's gonna clear right up on its own...
I have been stressing out big time trying to avoid catching that nasty flu that's going around lately, so maybe all this is just my body reacting to all that anxiety...

Go see a doctor so they can order a full blood panel. That will give you actual answers. Don't just ignore what your body is trying to tell you.

I didn't actually mention anything about losing my appetite, but honestly, the whole idea of eating just feels totally gross to me right now.

And I'm definitely not pregnant.

Are you absolutely sure about that? I’m really just asking!🙂

It might just be the stress getting to you, honestly, because when your body starts feeling run down like this, it’s usually just screaming at you to finally take a breather.

The thing is, a standard blood panel is really the gold standard for seeing what's actually going on under the hood, so if you want to stop worrying about it, just head over to your doctor and get some labs done.👍

"Something's fishy" here!😳
Anyway, just like someone already pointed out to you: don't go ignoring those body language cues. You should probably at least get some routine checkups done.

My own blood work has always come back looking great, even when I was feeling pretty under the weather,😕 (so I guess those numbers don't tell me much personally)
swiftbison7, I felt the exact same way during my bout with depression.

A friend of mine mentioned her dad had cancer, yet his blood work came back absolutely flawless—it really makes you wonder, doesn't it?

This thing has been following me around for a week now; if I hadn't just had my period, I honestly would've thought I was pregnant

Heading to the doctor now...
I’m totally fine during the night and sleep like a baby, but then I wake up after maybe fifteen minutes and it just starts, you know, this weird internal restlessness and nausea hits me out of nowhere, and while I'm not exactly stumbling around dizzy or anything, I definitely don't feel fit and have absolutely zero appetite...

Well, I’ve been feeling the exact same way for the last few days...
But this morning, things took a bit of a turn for the worse—it isn't just the kind of nausea you can settle with a quick burp 😁 anymore; my throat and sinuses are acting up too, so I headed straight out to grab some Max Fleischer to see if I can kill this thing off.

Don't assume every cancer shows up on a standard blood test. My own mother is dealing with a brain tumor right now, and her bloodwork looks perfect.

Girl, forget about the period for a second—it’s super easy to miss those early signs when your progesterone levels haven't fully spiked yet. If that's the only thing making you doubt whether you're expecting or not, you should probably just swing by CVS and grab a home test ASAP!

So I just got my lab orders back for some bloodwork, and man, it is such an incredibly long list of tests.

My blood work came back absolutely flawless... so I'm heading over to see a neuropsychiatrist now.

Have you thought about seeing a neurologist? I was dealing with those exact same symptoms at the same time you were, and honestly, they haven't really let up yet. I went to see a specialist and they put me on Normabale; I've finished two doses so far, but it hasn't done much for me. I’m still getting these bizarre pains in my head right around my ears. 👎Oh, and just for the record, my blood work is absolutely flawless, too.

Yeah, this part trips me up too... you can have perfectly normal blood results while dealing with something incredibly serious at the same time.😕

Stress. Maybe you've just been buried under a mountain of work lately and it finally hit you.

It’s definitely stress—at least, that's what my neurologist told me. When there's too much noise rattling around in your head, it eventually has to find an exit somewhere.
