rustydrifter10 went ahead and changed my Gastronomy thread Three top foods that you hate to:

The thing is, we already have a massive thread on the Gastronomy board dedicated to dishes people hate:

My specific thread about three particular items was set up exactly how I phrased it for a reason.
Look, if the Admin is just going to swoop in and change my content and title even though a duplicate topic already exists, then fine—but at least scrub my username from under the new title.
I sent a private message asking for this, but apparently, my request fell on deaf ears.

Look, I already sent you a quick DM to explain this, but regarding that thread you started—we’ve actually been discussing specific dishes and ingredients there for ages. People aren't strictly sticking to that "pick exactly three" rule you set out in your opening post; they just tend to share whatever comes to mind! I went ahead and merged yours with the existing thread because, honestly, we really don't need two separate discussions covering the same ground.

You didn't say any of that to me in our DMs.
When I actually suggested you just merge this thread with the old one, you shot me down. Now, suddenly, you're all "we don't need two threads" the second I shove the link right in your face? Give me a break.
I'm honestly trying to keep my cool here so I don't tell you exactly what I think about those little games you play.

Look, I didn't merge them right then because I simply didn't have the bandwidth to sit there and dig through everything, so I figured I’d just deal with it later. I was offline for maybe three hours—hardly a crisis!—and nothing major even happened during that window. We just had two separate PDF threads, one of which had a title change that clearly didn't sit right with you.
