I noticed there’s already a thread dedicated to Hattrick Manager, but since that game seems to have lost its momentum lately, I figured I'd start a new discussion about the one that actually feels relevant right now.
Why is it gaining more traction? Honestly, it’s just much more intuitive, cleaner, and visually appealing than Hattrick. My biggest gripe with Hattrick was always those vague player and coach ratings—you’d never really know if "solid" meant a significant step up from "good" or just a minor tweak. Here, everything on GoalUnited is laid out with clear numerical values... much easier to digest.
Managing your club doesn't require a massive time sink either; just logging in for maybe 10 to 15 minutes every couple of days keeps things running smoothly.
That said, the built-in media system makes the game surprisingly addictive, especially once the press conferences and media wars start heating up. 🤣
