Even though the title was translated pretty poorly, the movie itself is actually fantastic. It’s such an engaging watch, especially since I found that wild plot twist at the end to be totally unexpected.

Definitely worth watching. The ending is brutal.

I caught a screening yesterday, and I have to say, the experience was surprisingly pleasant.

What on earth is the title of this thing...?

The original title is actually Frailty, which usually gets translated as some kind of weakness or shortcoming.

But here’s the real kicker:

You walk into a video rental shop,
you see a title like angel and demon and you just assume it's some mindless junk along the lines of Dogma, so you pass right over it, when in reality the movie is this incredible psychological thriller where the whole concept of angels and demons is just... well, I won't spoil it for you if you haven't seen it yet.

I almost lost my mind watching *In a Pumpkin* when I saw what he actually brought home... then I watched it and 🙏

It's actually good, though the title *Frailty* hits the mark perfectly. *Angel and Demon* just sounds like something an idiot would come up with.

All in all, it’s a brilliantly conceived piece of work, provided you actually have the patience for it. I know I did.

So, I picked this up at the local video rental shop yesterday—it had a pretty clunky title, something like angel and demon—just to kill some time.
It’s actually the directorial debut from Bill Paxton...

And honestly? I was totally blown away by it..

Just watched this again on TV last night: honestly, even better the second time! I already figured out the twist at the end this time around, but man, it didn't make it any less gripping.

It's a real Damage that the DVD release was easily one of the worst ever produced by an American distributor.

Honestly, the movie caught me totally off guard—mostly because I’ve never been able to stand Bill Paxton as an actor; he just never did anything for me🤮 yet, somehow, the guy delivers one of the most intense films ever made. He really should have walked away with an Oscar for directing for this one.👍

that scene where we see the detective kill his own mother? Easily one of the most disturbing things I've ever watched.😱

I picked up the R1 DVD the second it hit shelves. It’s such a sharp, intelligent piece of filmmaking... definitely a stellar directorial debut from Paxton...

Caught this on ABC on Saturday night...

It was an awesome flick—a total drama that leans hard into horror territory. What I really loved was how they almost entirely avoided showing the actual kills (SPOILER). Instead, they leave all the gore and guts to your own imagination... 😁

In my book, the more you have to imagine, the better the movie actually is.
That twist? Totally caught me off guard. That’s easily my favorite part about cinema—when a story actually manages to pull the rug out from under you...
