By this, I am referring to a sense of liberation from one's own emotions. Is it truly possible to attain absolute stillness within a restless mind, to actually perceive the voice of silence?
How does one learn to master their biological senses? And how can one achieve a state of heightened, transcendent sensitivity?

What specific characteristics define an insensitivity response? What kind of observations can one typically make, and what exactly should be looking out for?

That's a total contradiction, honestly. It’s just too vague. On one hand, you want to ditch emotions, but on the other, chasing "absolute peace" is just another emotion itself! If you look at it closely, emotions are pretty much all we are, unless you're talking about some super narrow definition.

Emotions arise through our senses—sight, touch, and so on. They are the result of chemical reactions within the body, the release of serotonin, or mental visualizations; they are a subjective experience.

When you hold an object in your hand, what truly tells you that it is real? I don't place much faith in "realistic sensations." In fact, I don't put much stock in reality itself. Nothing is ever truly "absolute."

Our senses are deceptive, just as our emotions are. For instance, when you click this link, scroll down to the image featuring the squares;

Liberating oneself from the matrix of sensory reality essentially means cultivating a state of hyper-sensitivity👍

Haha, cool link! I've actually seen something similar before—like with those optical illusions involving bumps and dips. If you look at a picture of some painted circles, people will always swear one way because they're hardwired to assume light is coming from above. But the second they flip the image, they see the exact opposite because the shading on the edges shifts. It’s basically just unconscious reasoning at work. Sadly, I've got an example of this in a physical book, but nothing handy in a virtual format right now.
As for the whole emotion thing, I’d suggest taking a much deeper dive into what that word actually means. Once you do, I honestly think the conclusion is just a state of being non-living.
I’m probably going to step back from this topic, though. There are so many different perspectives on it that I feel like I don't even have the right vocabulary to do it justice. Plus, I've already absorbed so much info on this that I can just tell you: the answer is right there. It’s so simple it doesn't even need to be said since everyone just interprets their own "version," yet on the flip side, you can talk about it so sophisticatedly that you'd need a 160 IQ just to wrap your head around it. At the end of the day, it all leads to the same spot, so I'm gonna save my brain cells the extra effort. 🙂

We are living through truly exhilarating times—an era defined by the most significant evolutionary leap in the history of our species. Following Homo sapiens, the thinking man, evolution is guiding us toward what could be called the Psychozoic era, a stage where humanity transcends into telepathic beings. By deciphering the ancient temporal codes left behind by our ancestors, we can harmonize this ascension of Man and the planet. It is a profound quest for spirituality, a return to natural rhythms, and an awakening to life as a conscious dream, allowing us to finally grasp our divine purpose as multidimensional beings...

Coming to terms with one's own mortality presents a profound challenge to any Homo sapiens. It truly represents a fierce struggle against our most primal fear. To be clear, I am not referring to physical passing or any thoughts of self-harm.
Only once that true internal demon is conquered can the paths toward the divine finally reveal themselves.

The manifestation of Buddha through thought;
What could possibly be so terrifying about contemplating one's own mortality?

I am not sure if you were old enough to remember this, but back in the 90s, everyone was obsessed with the idea of solar belts. There was all this hype about what would happen once Earth entered one, but predictably, absolutely nothing happened when the time actually came. 😁

It is much like the countless times we have been told the world is ending, yet here we are. 🤣

I do not expect much from humanity for another few millennia, aside from more warfare and bloodshed. In short... I would very much like to be proven wrong. Deeply. 🤷

My point is that I am referring to an internal revolution that has nothing to do with the external world. It is about a subtle spiritual essence whose upgrade has already begun. In time, this will manifest in our physical reality and the vast cosmos itself.
The process that has commenced will eventually soften the rigid material form.
A fluid state of existence will prevail. In other words, the world will become a home for spirits.

Of course we aren't talking about literal death. We're talking about a state of apparent death—something intentionally induced and staged so perfectly that you couldn't tell the difference from the real thing.

So, let's see those "heroes" showing up with their scales and microscopes. And everyone else, too. 🙂

And me...😢

Emotions are nothing more than the body’s physical reaction to repetitive thoughts.

So, Charles Diaz56, if you want to be free of them, you have to identify the specific thoughts triggering them and swap them out for a different set of ideas. But let's be honest—that's just "patching" the system... a temporary fix at best.

The real way is to rise above the thoughts entirely. You need to become a witness—to observe both the passing thoughts and the emotional storms as if you were standing outside looking in. Just watching what happens in your internal space creates distance. You simply cannot be caught up in an emotion while simultaneously witnessing it.

Grounding yourself in that state of witnessing will eventually lead you to a certain kind of peace.

But that absolute stillness and the silent language you're searching for... those only become possible when even the witness disappears....

There we have it—a constructive response. This is certainly something worth contemplating deeply.👍 🙄

I would prefer to focus my attention on the first level of silence, rather than the absolute one, as my own experience suggests that the latter does not truly exist. My personal journey has taught me that I am consciousness itself, a fragment of cosmic awareness currently entangled within a rigid, material form.

My focus would be directed toward that initial stage of peace, with the ultimate goal of gaining total mastery over our deceptive emotions. After all, the biological processes that drive them also originate from a higher plane.
Thus...in order to become masters of our own being, we must seek guidance
from above, from the cosmic, all-encompassing intelligence...

But how does one establish that contact?...🙄

Life’s just plain boring when there’s zero emotion involved...

Plus, having way too much sun and light can actually be pretty damaging if it ends up blinding you or something. Everything in life really needs to stay within a normal range, and that’s just the reality of things. All this talk about "liberation" and "freedom"... what a joke...
