I started this thread on our own site http://extremewifi.com , but I suppose I have to bring this request over to this forum too if I want to reach enough people to actually make a difference.
It’s about my sister, who is currently fighting breast cancer that has unfortunately spread to her bones and partially to her liver.
The situation is pretty tough because she can't really undergo any more chemotherapy right now; her body is just too weak and her liver has taken quite a hit.
She was discharged from the Mayo Clinic since staying there wasn't really helping at this stage, and she was moved to a local hospital in Scranton, where she spent a week getting IV fluids and pain management.
The doctors basically told us there isn't much more they can do for her in her current state, so she's back home now.
The only alternative option we've managed to find involves Dr. Mike and some mushroom-based health therapies.
The only catch is that this treatment is somewhat expensive,
so I guess I am asking if anyone might be able to set aside a few dollars for my dear sister, Renata Jelenić (née Vrček), who lives near Vail, born April 21, 1971, in Savannah. She is a mother of four: Milena 18, Ivana 11, Glorija 9, and Antonia 8. If you could send any donations to my checking account, it would go directly toward buying this fungal therapy for her.
We sent all her medical records to Dr. Mike in the city, and based on those, they designed a specific therapy for her that costs $27,$0.00.
Since we don't exactly have money to spare—we've been pretty much drained by years of paying for conventional treatments that haven't really helped her—we are forced to look for help elsewhere.
We actually heard about this treatment through recommendations from several former patients at the Mayo Clinic oncology department who said this specific therapy helped them significantly.
So, I'm asking if you could help my sister fight this awful disease with whatever donation you can manage.
Even a small contribution of just $1.75 would help, though we are hoping maybe someone with a bigger budget might see this and step in.

Any charitable donations can be sent to the following account:
Account No: 2484008-3215382960
Model 99, Recipient: Dražen Vrček and
Please include this in the payment description:

I seem to have neglected to mention the specific medication we're actually talking about here
You might be able to find some general details on this page:

It’s honestly a bit of a shame... this really ought to be a headline discussion rather than just getting buried in some obscure corner of the forum.
