I've been playing online games for a long time now, mostly stuff like Call of Duty 2 and Call of Duty 4, but I’m looking to get more serious about it. That means I need actual gear. I'm looking for recommendations on a keyboard, a mouse, and some 5.1 surround sound headsets. I can drop up to $600 $233 per item. Thanks in advance.

Not sure if this is the right sub to post in. Admin, please move this if it belongs somewhere else.

Take your pick—grab a Logitech G5 or maybe a Razer Lycosa, pair it with a Logitech G11/G15 or even an Arctosa keyboard, and throw on some Creative Fatality F1 headphones. Honestly, whatever you choose from that list, you really can't go wrong!

Did you mean Lachesis? If you ask me, the winning combo is the G5 plus the G15, paired with either Piranha or Fatal1ty gear.

What's your take on the Razer Deathadder?

Honestly, your keyboard can be whatever you want—though I honestly don’t get why anyone would drop a fortune on some overpriced gaming board.
Sure, you want something decent, but there's no reason to go overboard. Maybe a Logitech MX 518 is a solid middle ground if you're looking for value, but anything beyond that feels like overkill.
If you're going to spend money, though, definitely put it toward a good pair of headphones. In my opinion, you really can't beat a high-end pair of Sennheisers; they've got some of the best out there, even if they do cost a bit more.

Yeah, you're right—Lachesis. I was a little out of it earlier and totally missed that...
