Garage rock scene

So... whenever I find myself with some downtime, I figure I'll put together a little educational thread about garage rock that isn't dead. Actually, it's very much alive. Specifically, I want to talk about some relatively unknown bands currently killing it out there.
I’m going to introduce you to some groups I’ve heard or seen live that truly represent the best of the scene—not just in garage rock, but across the board.

I hope you enjoy some of this. I'd love to hear your thoughts or even see your own favorites... my only rule is that they have to be new, fresh, and full of energy. Forget the legends for a second.

The Black Keys ( New York City, USA)

The most interesting killer duo out there right now... me and Nirvana are losing our minds watching them.
A totally insane, heavy performance... both guys were practically bleeding from their heads while jumping around.
And no. They aren't on speed.
They're playing shows all over the US, completely unknown for now... but they'll make waves if they have any luck and sense. And yeah... I've never seen a better drummer in my life.

The Black Lips (Atlanta, USA)

Here’s something special... a bunch of reckless teenagers in their absolute prime. They hail from some small town just outside Atlanta.
Top-tier band... honestly maybe the only ones who have TRULY recaptured that raw 'touch' of the classic 60s garage rock scene. They signed with the prestigious Sub Pop and they're making waves everywhere. Definitely my favorites... they've been out on tour for about 6 months now.

GORE GORE GIRLS ( Detroit, USA )

Not sure if they're still together. Last tour was back in 2004/2005...
Classic 60s retro sound... solid... pure girl garage rock in the vein of the legendary The Stooges.

Tijuana Bibles (Toronto, Canada)

Canadian Disease... they're playing with The Rippers in Denver in just a few weeks.

They're a decent band🙂 and they share a similar vibe with groups like functional🙏 blackouts🙏, much like bome and hospitals (though not that second album—that one was total garbage). It feels more like a collection of noisy punk garage tracks rather than straight-up garage rock, but honestly, I'd recommend giving them a listen (I don't have any physical copies on me, and I can't track down any MP3s online right now, unfortunately...).

Oh, and could you please use standard capitalization for the thread title?🙂
Right now, it looks like something out of a Red Hot Chili Peppers or Linkin Park era forum...

They played in Chicago about a year or two ago... honestly, they're my favorite Swiss band...
I have to admit, their live shows hit way harder than their studio recordings... but... whatever.
