Hi everyone,

If you’re pregnant and have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes—or even just glucose intolerance—and you fall somewhere between 20 and 35 years old, I want to talk to you. If you live in the Washington, D.C. area and don't have any medical reasons to avoid physical activity, you are invited to join a clinical study for my doctoral dissertation. My research focuses on how staying active actually impacts pregnancy progression and overall outcomes. Also, if you know anyone who fits this description, please pass this along. It might be exactly what they need.

So, what’s in it for you?
- Access to customized, free exercise programs tailored specifically for your pregnancy.
- All the perks of staying active while expecting: less back pain, specialized advice and exercises to prevent incontinence, and a lower risk of various complications during pregnancy—especially those tied to gestational diabetes.
- A smoother delivery and a much faster postpartum recovery.
- A safe, structured way to stay fit from start to finish.
- Direct guidance from physiotherapists and kinesiologists, including free physiotherapy sessions if the need arises.
- And last but certainly not least—complimentary prenatal massages. 🙂

What do we get out of it? We gather vital data on how exercise influences specific health markers. Don't worry—there are no painful or invasive tests involved; everything is done safely for both you and the baby.

You can find more details about the study here:

Thanks for the support!
