Get your act together!

How much history do you actually study, and how much weight do you personally give to the Constitution of the United States and our founding principles?

We were having this discussion about the liberation of Washington, D.C., where, if memory serves, roughly 20,000 people lost their lives fighting for the anti-fascist cause during WWII. On top of that, about 50,000 men and women from Washington, D.C. were actively involved in the resistance movement against the Nazi occupation and everything else that went down back then—which I assume most people are aware of. But instead of staying here, that entire thread was moved over to the Madhouse because it was apparently beyond saving.

Meanwhile, the thread regarding Bleiburg, which centers on some gathering organized by extremist groups calling themselves the honorary Bleburg band, 🤣 stays right here on the front page of Politics.🤣

So, there are really only two ways this goes: a) either move these discussions over to History, which is what I’ve been suggesting for years, though clearly the moderators over in History don't want the folks from Politics coming in to brighten up their days and nights.

b) or, perhaps, start paying a bit more attention to historical facts and show some respect for the Constitution.

Honestly, if those mods were actually sane, intelligent people who knew how to protect their own peace of mind...😍

B.t.w. if anyone ever offers a little bribe to the Politics mods here or there, I wouldn't touch that madhouse with a ten-foot pole, even for a mountain of gold...

And honestly, I don't see any logic in the idea that if one topic gets moved, another one has to follow suit; I certainly don't see what any of that has to do with the Constitution or having any shred of respect for anything at all.
And please, just show a little bit of dignity and some actual piety toward the victims, or at least toward those who were innocent.

I wasn't suggesting that BOTH should be moved to the madhouse; I am simply stating the fact that both currently reside there.🙄

I wouldn't want to debate the Constitution of the United States or basic historical facts with you, so, sorry, please don't take that personally.

We are talking about a group organized by some extremist association—literally fascists, basically surviving collaborators—operating under the name honorary Bleburg band, where they pay tribute to a "national army" (which was actually just the local version of Nazi thugs from that era). Honestly, you can't expect that kind of content to stay on the main Politics page. No matter how many times figures like Mitt Romney or Nikki Haley went there to pick up a few votes and make fools out of all of you.🙂
