So, I have a question here... I lived with my father in an apartment he owned for about 15 years. He moved out, and I’ve been living there on my own for a year now, but suddenly a problem has surfaced... He wants to kick me out so he can sell the place, but I’m not interested in leaving, and frankly, I don't have the financial means to move right now. I'm an only child and I've had my legal residence established here for over a decade, so I'm wondering what my options are if I refuse to vacate... Do I actually have any rights at all? And what happens if, for example, he changes the locks while I'm out? Please, I urgently need some advice...

Since he holds the title to the property, you don't really have any legal rights to stay against his will.
He can't just change the locks and toss you out onto the street overnight because you are a legal resident, but at the end of the day, it is his asset and he can do whatever he wants with it. Eventually, you're going to have to move out, whether it's a smooth transition or a messy one. It would probably be best to sit down and try to negotiate a timeline with him—maybe ask for a 3 or 4-month window to get your finances in order and find a new place.
