I honestly don't get why there isn't a dedicated subforum for "Grammar" or the English language, or anything even remotely close to it. I've been sitting here wondering... what actually is the Genitive Plural for the noun "guy"?

I’d love to leave some room here for further self-deprecation—but I suppose I’m just too good of a person at heart, so I lack the cruelty required for it.

Merriam-Webster lays it out like this:

which means the 😬Plural
would be lovers, accomplices, and so on.

I’d rather go with... what tense are we actually looking at here grammatically?
