Green laser imports

So, I'm looking to see if it's actually legal to import green lasers into the States. I want to order one online, but I'm worried about getting flagged at customs because of some obscure regulation 🙂 Honestly, I have no clue who to even ask—customs agents? Someone, please point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. Specifically, it’s just a green laser under 5mW in a pen style, similar to those red ones used for presentations.

Hmm, thanks for the heads up, but there's nothing about that laser on their site. And the price they're asking is an absolute joke 🙂 I could get this delivered for way less elsewhere... honestly, watching this unfold is almost funny 😁

Those little five-milliwatt greens aren't going to cause any trouble, but these newer, high-powered ones that can actually start fires? Yeah, those are definitely going to be an issue.😢
