Hand pain

I'm 43 years old. For nearly a month now, I've been dealing with intense pain in all the joints on my left side. It started with my fingers tingling, and then I began noticing blue bruising on my cheekbones—my fingers actually turn blue several times a day. Right now, I'm taking Celebrex and 15mg of Meloxicam. The pain is constant and unrelenting, and I've noticed some swelling around my joints as well. If anyone else has gone through something similar or has any advice, please let me know. It’s tough trying to play doctor over the internet, but joint pain usually points toward arthritis. You can often manage it better over time with the right exercises and meds. Are the prescriptions you were given actually helping at all? And what was the verdict from your doctor?

Thanks so much for reaching out🙂! I'm currently in the middle of waiting on my test results and getting some imaging done, so I won't be seeing my doctor until everything is finalized. The medication helps, but it isn't quite a total fix. I’ve always struggled with arthritis, though sometimes I wonder if it might just be poor circulation. Take care!

It might be a good idea to go ahead and consult with a rheumatologist.
