Hearing?

How does the whole process work from filing an indictment to the actual trial starting? Is there some kind of hearing where the DA has to present evidence that the court actually accepts as enough to move forward with the trial itself? Honestly, I have zero clue how this works so I'm asking... Also, is this procedure laid out in the Zero-Knowledge Proof or some other legal code?

I have an upcoming court hearing where 😕I’ve filed a motion to waive my court costs. I submitted all the required documentation proving my current financial situation. However, back in my hometown, I actually hold partial ownership of an old, dilapidated house with a tiny yard. It doesn't generate a single cent of income for me. I’m not sure if I was legally obligated to disclose that specific detail. I would really appreciate some insight on this.
