I am reaching out to see if anyone here might have experienced something similar or can offer some perspective on what I’m going through. For quite some time now, I’ve been waking up in the early morning hours gripped by a sharp pain in the left side of my chest. The discomfort lingers as long as I remain lying down; it only seems to subside once I actually get out of bed and take a few steps around the room. If I try to stay still, the sensation becomes incredibly unsettling, often triggering bouts of genuine panic. Using a small home blood pressure monitor, I’ve recorded some rather strange readings on multiple occasions—while my systolic pressure usually stays within a normal range of 110-120, my diastolic numbers tend to dip lower, anywhere between 50 and 70, accompanied by a significant drop in my heart rate. There are moments when my pulse plummets to 43, which is exactly when that localized pain feels most intense and terrifying. I’ve already consulted two different cardiologists; one dismissed my home readings as unreliable, while the other ran a Holter monitor test and insisted everything looked perfectly fine. But how can it be "fine" when the symptoms persist so relentlessly? On top of this, I frequently experience heart palpitations while resting, such as during a quiet afternoon nap after lunch. Strangely enough, whenever I’m physically active or under exertion, I feel absolutely fantastic without any issues at all. Any insight would be deeply appreciated.
