Hey everyone, I need some help. Is there a specific program that lets me print Word docs, PDFs, or Firefox pages using this layout:

I’ve got about 200 pages to print as a study guide. I want two pages on the front (pages 1 and 2) and then pages 3 and 4 on the back. I don't want to have to manually flip every single sheet; I just want to print one side at a time and then flip the whole stack once.

I'm not entirely sure what you're aiming for, but if you just go into Word and hit print, you can pull up the printer properties and toggle on duplex printing. That should handle the double-sided part automatically—the machine flips the pages itself, though you might have to play around with the orientation settings to get the back side facing the right way depending on how modern your setup is; I actually picked up a Canon from $267 about two years ago and it's been pretty straightforward.

That’s pretty much what you’re looking for. You can tweak those settings right in the printer properties—at least on my ancient Canon.

Check out this photo. Look at what my old workhorse can do. Honestly, there isn't a layout option you couldn't find. Two pages per sheet, four pages, top-right, bottom-left, mirrored... it does it all.

If I started showing you every single sub-menu option, we'd be here all day.🙂

Anyway, it handles basically everything without needing any extra software. I haven't tested the newer Canon models, but they likely have the same features, if not better drivers.

I’m betting there’s no duplexing here—it probably has to flip the paper manually 😬

That's exactly what I meant.

I don't have any duplex options on my end. It only lets me adjust color levels.
Is there some software that can handle this regardless of the printer? I'm using an HP.
