Help, please!

So, about two days ago, I had unprotected sex with my girlfriend. We’ve been together for seven months now. I know her inside and out, and she was a virgin before we started dating. Honestly, since we got together, I haven't seen anyone else either.

The thing is, yesterday—just one day after we hooked up without a condom—I felt this slight stinging sensation down there, and today? It’s turned into constant itching! On top of that, I noticed some redness on my eyelid that started yesterday and seems to be getting worse.

I'm low-key panicking that I might have picked up an STI. Could these symptoms actually be related to something like a yeast infection?

Urination feels totally fine and there isn't any actual pain, but the area near the head is looking red and it just won't stop itching!

I am definitely heading to the doctor tomorrow, but I’d love to hear what you guys think in the meantime!

Just go see a doctor and have them prescribe some Johnson & Johnson cream; apply it for a couple of days and you should be fine.👍

Also, stop using regular soap—especially for her—it's better to just grab a specific wash or gel meant for feminine hygiene with a low pH.
You can find stuff like that at basically any drugstore, like from Nivea.

This can also happen after oral sex if you've eaten right before. You end up developing these yeast fungi in your mouth, and if they migrate to where they shouldn't be, you get those miserable, annoying symptoms. So maybe it's a good idea to brush your teeth beforehand and rinse with some wine.👍
