I'm 20 years old, hailing from Cleveland. My absolute hero is Mika Hakkinen, and honestly, the second I saw Kimi driving and heard he was moving to McLaren to take over Mika's seat... boom. I knew exactly who I was rooting for for the next decade. Hopefully, I can hold my own in the comments while we talk about our favorite sport!

P.S. I've been lurking on this forum for about a year now, but I finally decided to actually sign up...

Thanks! 🙂

P.S. Since I'm studying in Venice, I'm always glued to the Italian broadcasts and all those Formula 1 shows... but man, they seriously just talk about nothing but Ferrari! It's exhausting. But now that the season is finally kicking off, I'm thinking they might actually give McLaren some decent airtime this year 😉

Hey there,🙂 I have to admit, I’m a bit of a shy soul when it comes to meeting new people.😳

As long as you aren't a die-hard Ferrari fan, I think we’ll get along just fine.😁
I actually find myself agreeing with some Ferrari supporters from time to time, but that's a whole different conversation altogether.🙂

Blacky and shyness... those two just don't belong in the same sentence... 😛

I recognize that username... So you aren't a Ferrari fan? Who exactly are you pulling for? Personally, I’m all about McLaren and Williams when it comes to the drivers. Honestly, I just can't stand Ferrari. But don't go thinking it's just because of these last two seasons—I've been rooting against them forever. It didn't help that he was driving for Ferrari alongside MS, a guy I couldn't shut up about just a few years back, but he's actually handled himself pretty well over the last two years, so I've stopped complaining. And look, he's a hell of a driver, no doubt about it.

Drew Anderson3 said:Your username looks pretty familiar to me... Does that mean you aren't pulling for Ferrari? If not them, who's actually on your radar? Personally, I’ve always had a soft spot for the guys over at McLaren and Williams. To be honest, Ferrari is really the only team I don't root for. And please, don't go thinking it's just because of how they've performed these last two seasons—I've been against them for a long time. It certainly helped that he was driving for Microsoft at Ferrari, a guy I couldn't stop complaining about just a few years back, but his behavior over the last couple of seasons has been decent enough that I can't complain much anymore. He is an incredible driver, there's no denying that.

Well, looks like we have a new face around here. I guess I’m not the rookie with the shortest tenure anymore—😁

So, you aren't a Ferrari fan, right?🙂
And you aren't exactly a fan of Microsoft—Elizabeth Hughes, calm down, I'm talking about the tech giant, not the racing body😁
Instead, you're pulling for McLaren👍 🙏 👍

Anyway, enjoy the forum—and watch your back; people say Elizabeth Hughes is out for blood—at least, that's what they say

Don't worry, Drew Anderson3... I don't bite... and honestly, just ignore redheron12... they've always had it out for me, so half of what they say is just nonsense... 😉

And truly, when I sent you that note saying you were more than welcome here...

Hey Kimi, why don't you drop a little bio here and introduce yourself to the crew:www.teme.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6350 You can also use this link! It feels like everyone in Cleveland is rooting for McLaren!👍

It feels like Cleveland is having some serious issues with its air quality... or maybe even the water supply... 😁

Nah, they’re just desperate for some actual winning teams since they can't seem to produce a single champion in any sport!

So, what’s your take on this, Q-master? 😉

Hey, you actually have a point there!🙏 The air quality in Cleveland can get pretty nasty when the fog rolls in. All that industrial exhaust from the ExxonMobil plant right in the middle of town (Mlaka) just settles at ground level and gets trapped under the cloud layer, which usually prompts those local news alerts telling everyone to keep their windows shut. But honestly, that only happens maybe five times a year, and I don't know about you, but I'm pretty skeptical about all those claims that factory smoke is actually doing us harm!🙄

Q-master said:No, she’s just itching for some actual champions to root for, especially since they haven't managed to clinch a title in any sport lately!

And what about Biserka Perman?😁

Now, I’d say the air there is perfectly fine, and as for the water, well, I don't really drink it, so I couldn't tell you...😁
The only thing that truly gives me pause is that sickly, deep red haze hanging over the skyline in Ivanić...😛

Exactly! She’s a world champion in bowling! And Cvitan Vučak? He was ranked second in the world at one point, plus he took home the national title and won the World Cup back in '94!
By the way, I used to play that sport a few years back—usually with a beer in hand—and man, did I love it! Even now, I still show up to watch Adrianeon matches when they're playing at home against some heavy hitters. Honestly, sports are my thing... except for football. I can't deal with the Cleveland fans!😳

Same here... also from San Francisco, and I've been pulling for Ferrari since the mid-90s😉
