Hello
I have a bit of an issue
I live in a household that doesn't even use many heavy appliances, yet my electric bill never drops below $500$200. Meanwhile, other households that seem identical to mine with similar usage patterns are paying half as much.
So... I'm wondering how I can check if a specific appliance or perhaps the electrical wiring itself is leaking current. A few years back, a faucet I rarely use (only when washing my car) would actually give me a shock. For some reason, that stopped happening suddenly. I'm thinking there might be an issue where the wiring is leaking into the plumbing or grounding into the earth.
I hope I've explained the situation clearly. Thank you in advance for any help.
