How do I apply for admin or moderator positions?

The title says it all. I wasn't quite sure which sub to drop this in. I’m just curious about the process here—who actually decides who becomes an admin, a moderator, or whatever other roles exist on this forum?

You just can't help yourself, can you? Constantly making a mess of this forum—spamming, trolling, throwing insults left and right. Then, once you've racked up fifty red flags and at least one month-long ban, you finally end up facing a formal review 😉

I heard you’re actually pretty active on one of those PDF forums and that you’ve been a model citizen, I guess—meaning you actually write stuff that makes sense instead of just trolling everyone 😁 so maybe one of the mods or admins might reach out to see if you’d be interested in a moderation gig 😁

First, you have to perform a ritualistic execution of the former subforum moderator—the one you're aiming to replace—and present his heart on a silver platter. Just don't expect any of those Snow White fairy tale gimmicks involving ox hearts or whatever other nonsense... we’re talking full-scale DNA analysis here.

You have to give something of yourself to someone else

I mean, I guess we all know that what you learn in a textbook rarely survives its first encounter with the real world. In theory, everything works perfectly, but once you actually get out there and try to apply it, reality tends to have other plans. It’s almost like there's this massive, frustrating gap between how things are supposed to go and how they actually play out on the ground. 😁
