does anyone know how I can go about deleting a post I already put up?

Look, if you see "EDIT" next to a post, it just means you can go back and tweak things if you messed up before hitting send. But honestly? It doesn't last long. After a few hours, it's gone. Just like everything else.

I would kindly ask for some guidance on who I should contact—and what the proper procedure is—to request the removal of an old post that doesn't belong to me. It’s causing serious damage to my company's reputation; the post mentions a fraudulent firm that happens to have a very similar name to mine, and because of those similarities, potential clients are pulling out of deals after doing their due diligence online. I've already reached out to the three moderators for this subforum, but I haven't received any response. I'm really hoping for some help here... otherwise, I might actually be forced to change my entire business name and office address.

I honestly think the delete option should just be permanent. No need to go bugging a moderator every single time. If you want to wipe something, just hit delete—it’s your call.

Posts can be deleted within a short window after they are published. How are we supposed to prevent a discussion from blooming around a thread only for the original post to vanish?
