How much do the drivers actually make?

Saw a blurb on ABC Teletext yesterday saying Ferrari is putting together a roughly $65 million offer for Kimi Räikkönen for a three-year deal. If that holds up, they’ll blow Renault's offer out of the water and probably convince him to join the squad.

What's the actual pay scale for drivers in Formula 1?
And what do test drivers pull in?

I'm talking about everyone, across all the teams.
I want to put a list together and run some numbers to see how it all stacks up.

Yeah, according to the latest reports in Formula 1 racing, they were sitting at...
...Ferrari at $46.50 million
...McLaren at $40.00 million
...Toyota at $39.50 million
...Renault was putting in $18.25 million,
...while BAR Honda contributed $10.25 million.
...Williams Racing had $5.00 million,
...Sauber Petronas was at $4.50 million,
...Red Bull Racing gave $2.50 million,
...Jordan was at $0.50 million,
...and Minardi was contributing just 😁 $0.35 million.
So, yeah, that was basically how the 2005 season looked... that's all I've got on hand.😢 Though, maybe this other bit could be useful too... if you think so.

I’m pretty sure Rosberg pulls in about $300,000 a year. As far as I know, Michael Schumacher was the highest-paid driver on the grid, and his brother makes a massive salary too.

Yeah, I actually think even over at IndyCar they were making comments about Ralf, almost implying he was one of the highest-paid drivers on the grid or something along those lines!

I know Villeneuve was pulling in a massive paycheck too. I remember hearing that when he moved over to the bar, he might have actually been the second highest-paid driver or something along those lines.

Just a heads-up for the drivers out there... I heard Anthony Davidson got slapped with a speeding penalty in the pit lane, and now he's claiming he's broke and can't cover the fine, basically hoping the team will just foot the bill for him. 😁
