Once you get under a doctor's microscope, they always seem to find something wrong. It’s like, how can you be sent from specialist to specialist just because they keep unearthing more and more issues? You were perfectly fine before the appointment, and you’ll be fine after—yet somehow, you end up being labeled as increasingly unwell.

It truly feels to me like our mental state has a direct impact on our physical health. My personal theory? If nothing hurts, it’s probably best to stay far away from the doctor's office. Once you start visiting them regularly, you almost begin to feel sick just by association....

I actually had to switch dentists recently. The first guy was clearly just trying to squeeze extra money out of me; he insisted my bite was off, my teeth were subpar, I needed crowns, blah, blah, blah...

So, I went to a different one instead. He told me my dental health is actually above average for my age, that my teeth are incredibly white, and that everything looks great because the quality is high.

If I hadn't sought a second opinion, I would have genuinely believed I had the worst teeth on the planet. It’s the exact same story with doctors... the moment they lay hands on you, suddenly you're a major patient, even though I've never dealt with anything serious and honestly have more energy than most of them combined. When my physician tried to lecture me about needing to be more active (without even asking if I already was!!), I nearly lost it. I told her straight up that I walk twenty minutes to work and twenty minutes back every single day, plus I cycle, hike, and swim. I then asked her when was the last time she did any of those things! She had absolutely nothing left to say. That’s why I say: RESIST THE DOCTORS! TO THE BITTER END!!! 👍

Look, these kinds of provocations aren't going to fly here. I'm closing this thread—if you actually want to have a real conversation about how mental health impacts physical wellness and psychosomatic issues, just start a new one... one that doesn't basically invite everyone to jump on a legitimate profession and tear them apart...
