Hey everyone!
So, I’ve got a HUGE problem on my hands—my face is seriously swollen. Right now, it’s pretty noticeable, but I’ve been doing cold compresses and using ice all morning, so it seems to be slowly going down... The real kicker is that New Year's Day is tomorrow, and there is absolutely no way I can show up looking like this to any of the parties!

I was wondering, does anyone know if there’s a more effective way to deal with swelling?
Maybe some Boric Acid?
I did a little digging on Google and even stumbled upon some weird tip involving onions... Does anyone here actually know anything about this stuff?

Thanks so much in advance!

p.s. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong spot...

What kind of swelling are we even talking about here? Was it a hit, a sting, an acne breakout?

It's from my appendix.

Forget the compresses. There’s nothing you can do until that inflammation dies down. Try applying an antibiotic ointment like Betrion; maybe that'll take the edge off. As for the redness, just mask it with some high-quality concealer.

Honestly, don't let this kind of nonsense ruin your night. People get hemorrhoids—it’s a basic part of being human and it doesn't mean they can't have a good time and stay in high spirits.

Maybe try applying some calendula ointment.
