How to delete posts

Hey there! If you guys could do me a huge favor and delete these posts of mine:

Topic: Staying friends with an ex?
Page: 4 [ ]

I need you to delete these specific posts:

It’s all just the same post sent by mistake because my internet connection was acting super glitchy! I kept getting those annoying error messages saying my messages wouldn't send. They're at the end of the thread and they literally just say "delete".

You really should have just asked a moderator to delete that PDF, or maybe just deleted it yourself in the first place...

If you had the ability to edit the post, surely you had the ability to delete it too?🤷

I already reached out to the mod in charge of this sub, but for some reason, I don't have the option to delete posts on my end.

Nope.

So, here is the deal: provided the post hasn't been sitting there for more than five hours, you should still see that edit option available to you. Go ahead and click on it, and this is what will pop up:


Once you select "Delete," you'll be presented with the following:


Simply check the box labeled "Delete message," and then when the prompt "Delete this message" appears, just click that, and your post will be gone...

Maybe that section is just set up that way? Like, I can post and edit, but deleting is totally off the table. Whatever! I'll just hang tight and let the admins wipe it for me. Thanks for the help! 🙂

I did my best to assist, though I am somewhat unclear on which specific section of the forum you are referring to; it is entirely possible that particular area is simply configured that way by default.

Perhaps you should wait to see if the moderator you contacted decides to delete it or reaches out to you directly. If they remain silent and the content stays up, try contacting a different moderator. Should that also prove fruitless, I would suggest escalating the matter to one of the admins—personally, I’d recommend reaching out to Desiree👍.
