How to edit a post?

How do I actually edit my posts? I can't find an edit button anywhere on this site...

You’ve only got a small window of a few hours to edit your posts before the option just vanishes entirely

after a few hours, that option just disappears..

I couldn't delete my post on the forum... so I just edited it instead... and then out of nowhere, I get hit with a strike and points deducted... all because I couldn't delete the damn thing. WTF???

Dude, when you click EDIT, there’s literally a button right there to delete it.

So I wasn't at school... and yeah, that’s why I got detention.

Honestly, you should've just edited it. If you delete a post, the mods can still see the content, but editing it actually hides the stuff from view.

Thanks for the replies. It’s a real bummer you can't go back and edit things later, because in that thread about pictures from the animal kingdom, I can't just tweak the numbers on an existing post without having to repost the whole damn thing over and over again...
