How to get Microsoft Office for free?

Hello everyone

My 60-day trial for Microsoft Office has just expired
Is there any way to find a free version available for download? Even an older version would suffice, as I am quite hesitant to pay for this software right now
Until lately, I have managed to handle most tasks on my computer, but I am currently at a standstill
If a full Office suite isn't an option, then perhaps just Word would work

Maybe give OpenOffice a shot instead.

LibreOffice works perfectly fine, and I’d honestly recommend it—plus, being free is a massive win.

I just finished installing LibreOffice (first time I've ever heard of it😬 )
and I have to say, I am quite impressed
it handles PDF conversions without any trouble at all
whereas getting that done in Microsoft Office was nothing but a total nightmare
