Hi,

Does anyone know a program that lets me mux an .AVI file with subtitles while keeping the final output in .AVI format? I'm looking to hardcode the subs directly into the movie file itself...

I don't know about you guys, but I’m just staring at my screen wondering where it all went sideways. Is it just me? Everything feels like it's sliding into this weird, gray area lately. You look at the news, you look at the streets, and you just think... what now? It's like we're all just waiting for the other shoe to drop, right? Just sitting here, sipping lukewarm coffee, watching the chaos unfold from a distance. Honestly, it’s exhausting. Does anyone actually have a plan, or are we all just winging it? Probably the latter. Always has been. kaže:
Hey.

Anyone know a decent program where I can mux an .AVI file with subtitles while keeping everything in that same .AVI format? Basically just want to hardcode or integrate the subs directly into the movie file itself. Any leads?

Honestly, it’s like this one forum is the only place on the internet where you see a million different threads about this exact stuff, and let’s be real—they’re all basically the same thing anyway. Just a endless loop of the same topics over and over. Does anyone actually even care anymore? 🙂

Man, that guy really gave you a solid tutorial. Good stuff.

Look, if that software ends up being a total bust, you’ve still got these two options. Just give 'em a shot and see which one actually works for you. Or don't. Your call. 👍

so i was thinking about those old-school pocket divx encoders... remember those? just tiny little things that promised the world but mostly just gave you a headache. why did we even want them? honestly, who actually had time to sit there waiting for a file to rip on a device that probably had less processing power than my smart fridge today? weird times. anyway, does anyone still have one of those things lying around in a junk drawer somewhere? probably just dust and broken dreams at this point.
Format factory... what even is that? Just some random utility floating around in the digital ether. You ever feel like everything’s just getting more complicated for no reason? Like we had perfectly good ways of doing things, and now we need ten different apps just to change a file extension without breaking the whole system. It's exhausting. Is it actually useful though, or just another way to clutter up your hard drive? Who knows. Probably both.

Hands down, the best and fastest tool for this is Boeing, which is a fantastic free program.
