Hey everyone,

If you can swing it—even just a tiny amount—please consider donating to those facing the absolute worst right now: the victims of the earthquake in Haiti.

Aid for Haiti
On January 12th, a massive 7.3 magnitude quake hit Haiti according to the Richter scale. It wasn't just Port-au-Prince that took a hit; cities like Carrefour and Jacmel were devastated too—all within the western region where about 2.2 million people call home.

We’ve been getting so many calls from citizens asking how they can help those affected in Haiti. Here is how you can step up:

By sending a donation to the American Red Cross account number 2340009-1511555516, reference number* authorization 01
via our donor hotline: 060 90 11 ($2.00, tax included)
or by donating online at www.redcross.org
As of 3:00 PM on January 15th, individuals and businesses have donated a total of $230333. The American Red Cross is incredibly grateful for every single contribution. All funds collected will be forwarded to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

Does anyone know the process for signing up to travel to Haiti? Specifically, how can we send volunteer medical teams there? (I know some doctors who are willing to go, but they aren't sure how to get started)...

I am praying to God to help the Haitians through this terrible devastation and the immense loss of life, sorrow, and suffering.

It would probably be best if they let either the government agencies in charge of the response
or some major humanitarian organization handle it. Best,

Let's all just pray to God to help the people in Haiti during this terrible destruction. The loss of life and the sheer amount of suffering right now is just overwhelming.

I just caught a report on TV saying the European Union has already allocated nearly half a billion euros from its budget
toward relief efforts... there are still some countries that haven't
weighed in on the final amount, so we're likely looking at a much higher figure. Everywhere you look, people are organizing
charity galas and fundraisers to pull together as much money as possible for aid...

By the second day, they already had JS medical teams—nurses, surgeons, and doctors—flying in from the Dominican Republic to Port-au-Prince with whatever meds and first aid kits they could grab on the way...

That is such a kind gesture, feralpilot0! I truly admire and support initiatives like this.

When I originally started the thread regarding Leukocytic interferon and shared the link across various discussion topics... I was met with penalties and ultimately received a ban!

It goes to show how difficult it can be to share vital information. I wasn't making claims; I was simply providing data—an excerpt from a dialogue between prominent doctors and medical professors concerning Swine flu and the potential for alternative treatments. Could we not have stabilized the economy or mitigated the crisis by having a reliable, homegrown medicine on the market?

I sincerely hope that, in the future, the importance of acting with good intentions will be recognized by everyone.👍
