I’m not sure if you guys can actually relate, but I seem to have developed this uncanny knack for sensing a cold before it even hits.

Take yesterday, for instance; I woke up feeling just slightly off, let out a couple of sneezes, and immediately knew what was coming.
A cold was definitely on the horizon, and naturally—because why would I do anything sensible like staying warm?—I decided to head straight out into the rain.
But whatever.
I woke up today feeling fully under the weather.
So, my current strategy involves a heavy rotation of soups, herbal teas, and hot cocoa.
Lunch is looking pretty low-key, just some chicken and nothing too heavy.
And I'll probably hunt down some Vitamin C if there's any left in the pantry.

Is success guaranteed? Of course not. There’s a very real possibility this thing is going to absolutely wreck me, though I’d say I have maybe a 50/50 shot at bouncing back within a day or two.

What about you all—do you have any go-to methods for killing a cold right at the starting line?
Do you just hammer yourself with antibiotics? Or go overboard with vitamins?

Has anyone actually discovered a formula that works every single time?
Please, share your wisdom. (I really need to go blow my nose.)

Don't go playing doctor with antibiotics!
Try some chamomile tea before you hit the sack. I tried that once and felt significantly better by morning. Basically, drink as much of that tea as you can before bed, bundle up under the covers, and just sweat it out. In my experience, this works best right when you feel a cold coming on, but it’s still worth a shot if you've been feeling under the weather for a few days already. 😉

If that doesn't do the trick, maybe try a little hot toddy. 😁

Look, I drink a ton of tea, and I definitely know which Maximalist blend to grab the second I feel like I'm coming down with something. It does the trick. Honestly, if I'm feeling extra rough, I might even whip up a quick lemonade on the side to help out.

Here’s my go-to routine:

A 1000mg Vitamin C tablet, a big liter of fresh-squeezed orange juice, 20 mg of zinc, a solid multivitamin, some ginger-infused veggie soup, and a bowl of brown rice.

Stick to this for just four days and everything just clears right up, no prescription meds required.

Maximalist 3x2, Cintas—keep it somewhere warm and dry, honestly, a bed would probably be best..

Well, I totally blew it right out of the gate 🙏

I’m still dealing with a bit of a cough, but I think I'm turning a corner.

I actually cranked the thermostat up to 77 degrees just so I could feel cozy enough to lounge around in shorts.
I haven't even stepped foot outside once in the last twenty-four hours.
Just staying hydrated and taking a little extra Vitamin C, nothing too crazy.
