So, how do I check if my chat logs actually saved? Like, my message history? I turned off the auto-save feature on MSN Plus, but is there any way I can dig up old stuff from my computer? I know there’s a trick where you can just type an asterisk and dot followed by doc to pull up all your Word files, but is there some kind of hack to find those old MSN logs if they even exist?

I wasn't actually searching through the hard drive—though I do occasionally revisit my old MSN message history. You simply log in, right-click on the contact's name, select View, and then choose Message History.
Essentially: right-click on the "contact's name" > View > Message History.

There are actually a few different ways you can dig through your logs... First off, the most direct route is right there in MSN when you log in; just click on your contacts and head over to your message history. If you want to go a little deeper, you can navigate to your My Documents/My Received Files folder, find the directory labeled with your profile name, and open up those individual HTML documents. But honestly, if you really want the best method, you should be using the MSN Plus add-on. If you have that installed, you can just jump into My Documents/My Chat Logs and see everything you’ve ever typed. Just a heads-up though—you’ll need to make sure you've configured the settings within the add-on to actually save your chats automatically. That should cover all your bases.😁

So, I have a quick question for you all... it isn't strictly about this topic... but it's somewhat related 😉
Basically... I set my settings so that my conversations aren't saved... because I don't really need them there... and honestly, mostly just so my brother doesn't go snooping through my 😁 but... he actually managed to crack my password on MSN and read some of my chats... I honestly have no idea how he even found them???? Does anyone know ????
