So, I signed up for this one site—total mistake, looking back—and now my inbox is getting absolutely hammered with like a hundred spam messages every single day. It’s relentless. There's actually an "unsubscribe" option, which sounds great on paper, right? Well, I've clicked it ten times already, but the flood just keeps coming like it's nothing. Is there any way to actually report this kind of thing to someone, or am I just stuck in this digital purgatory?

If the site isn't based in the States (or maybe somewhere in the EU), then it’s a no from me.

Well, you basically just told them your email address is active.

[1] Try this. It won't fix everything overnight, but you might see fewer emails popping up in a week or two.

Just make sure to update your address and info accordingly.

[2] This depends on where your mail is hosted. But—try creating a Gmail account and letting Gmail fetch your messages (usually via POP3). Gmail’s spam filters are top-tier; they'll scrub the junk right out.
You can either (a) just stick to using Gmail (you can still send from your old address) or (b) set Gmail up to forward everything to a third address.

There's actually an option in Outlook to "mark as spam," so maybe giving that a shot might help...
