Hello,
I am the owner of the aforementioned laptop, and I have finished installing Windows 7 32-bit. I downloaded all the necessary drivers directly from the official HP Pavilion website, which went smoothly, with one glaring exception: I cannot get the wireless or Bluetooth components to work. Every time I try, the system simply claims it can't find any compatible hardware. On the manufacturer's site, the wireless and Bluetooth drivers are bundled together, making it impossible to grab them individually. Consequently, I went hunting online and found a different set that included both; while the installation itself seemed fine without any error messages, the results are inconsistent. It successfully installed the Bluetooth, but the wireless remains non-functional. I even attempted to locate a standalone wireless driver and tried to force the installation through the Device Manager, but it fails every single time. The wireless card is a Broadcom BCM43xx. If I don't get this wireless card working soon, I'm at my wit's end. Thanks.
