Hypocritical Catholics

So...
A supermod—@Cika—is using terms like "ignorant Catholics" during a heated debate.

I have reported this post three separate times, but apparently, my complaints are just being ignored by the powers that be. I suppose this means either the supermod is permitted to openly insult the majority population of America, or perhaps such language isn't actually classified as hate speech on this forum.
The question I have is this: are other users—specifically those who lack any sense of civil discourse—allowed to use similar derogatory terms when referring to communists, Orthodox Christians, or Jewish people...?

I would appreciate an answer from someone in a position of authority.

It’s honestly a bit disheartening when you realize the rules aren't actually applied equally to everyone on this forum.

...and then an hour later in the same thread, lonebadger6 starts deleting and banning perfectly normal posts because the truth hurts and they have zero counterarguments left.

@cika strile went totally off the rails and completely lost the plot here.

Honestly, I’ve taken way more heat from people on this forum than anyone else. Back in the day, around 2010, I actually questioned how clean they were keeping the relics in some of those old churches, and man, did I get roasted for it—I probably got a few dozen angry messages, maybe even from @cika strile himself.

It’s possible the guy just finally snapped,
especially while we're talking about that poor girl's situation, combined with all the absolute garbage in our system that seems to be spiraling out of control lately.

So, let's all take a second and figure out which day works best.

Look, I’m gonna ask everyone to take a second and really think about what they’re saying and the fallout that comes with it.

The whole situation with that poor little girl... man, it’s heavy. It hits hard, and I know a lot of you guys are getting fired up and lashing out.

Look, you really shouldn't take things out of context and act like a statement made to one specific group applies to absolutely everyone.
